Obama's Broken Promises

Obama promised to put all bills on the White House web site for five days before signing them.

(He broke that promise.)

Obama promised to end all earmarks.

(He broke that promise.)

Obama promised to keep unemployment below 8 per cent.

(He broke that promise.)

Obama promised an era of new bipartisan cooperation.

(He broke that promise.)

Obama promised to end all “no compete” contracts with the government.

(He broke that promise.)

Obama promised to disclose the names of all attendees at White House meetings.

(He broke that promise.)

Obama promised to make peace, with direct, no precondition talks, with America’s most hate filled enemies, ushering in a new era of global cooperation.

(He broke that promise, but he did bow to the King of Saudi Arabia.)

Obama promised he would not raise taxes on the middle class.

(He broke that promise in a huge way, with the largest tax increase in American history coming January 1, 2011.)

He passed a health care bill 70 per cent of the American people didn’t want.

He says that he won’t give back the car keys to Republicans
“Because they can’t drive.”

He says we’re on the “Road to Recovery!”

He says, “Uh…ya know…we…(What’s the matter with the teleprompter?) ah…ya know…this is America…all 57 states… You…you…uh huh…George Bush…George Bush…George Washington…clingin’to their guns and religion…I know what it’s like out there…times are tough…Michelle and I had to cut back on a number of things…

These days, whenever I see Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Obama; I think of the old Bob Dole quote, “There they are, Hear No Evil, See No Evil, and Evil.”

But you have to remember, it’s George Bush’s fault.

That guy is responsible for everything.

Obama loosely translated means, “no responsibility.”
